Functional description:
By using the FDS 200 radio exhaust air control, an exhaust air system can only be used when the window is open and the necessary supply air can flow into the room. A transmitter on the window sash monitors whether the window is open or closed and transmits this information by radio to the receiver. This is simply plugged in between the socket and the mains plug of the extractor hood and only releases the power supply when the window is tilted or open. The mains plug fuse prevents the appliance plug of the cooker hood from being reconnected. The receiver is simply plugged between the socket and the mains plug of the cooker hood. The mains plug fuse prevents the appliance plug of the cooker hood from being accidentally reconnected.
Second recipient
Combination with another receiver (built-in or intermediate plug) for a second exhaust air system, e.g. bathroom fan, possible.
Second window (OR):
At least one of the windows must be open so that the exhaust air system can be switched on. For this purpose, the FDS 200 is equipped with an additional transmitter FDS 098 of the same coding for the second window
Second window (AND):
Two windows must be open at the same time so that the exhaust air system can be switched on. For this purpose, two independent FDS 100 with different coding are required. The receiver relays must be connected in series. This connection is not possible with FDS 200!
Scope of delivery
- 1x radio receiver
- 1x radio magnetic switch (transmitter and magnet)
- 1x battery CR2032
- 4x spacer plates for magnet
- Mounting material
- Operating instructions
Color telegrey, transmitter housing on request in various RAL colors available against surcharge
Our device performs an automatic RESET cyclically, after which the window must be opened once for renewed start-up (and closed beforehand if necessary).
With a "normal use" of 1-2 hours / day and optimal radio connection (no stainless steel or other shielding materials, ideally with visual contact), a battery life of up to 2 years can be expected with a fresh brand battery.

* Obstacles, especially metals, sometimes reduce the range considerably compared to free space. The actual range always depends on the respective installation. If there are frequent dropouts during operation, despite a fresh battery, a poor radio link is often to blame. The distance between transmitter and receiver is hardly relevant. Keep the receiver at least 20 cm away from the nearest metal surface. Thick glass plates, ceramic hobs, kitchen cabinets with pots and pans, as well as walls and ceilings also shield the radio waves perfectly and interfere with reliable operation. For a good connection, align the receiver during installation so that its LED "looks" in the direction of the transmitter.
