The CO2 traffic light "office" constantly measures the CO2 concentration in the room by means of the internal NDIR infrared sensor and reminds with the yellow LED from 1200 ppm to extensive shock ventilation of the room, in the highest warning level with red LED from 2500 ppm also sounds the warning tone. With fresh air means more oxygen - thus more well-being and more efficiency. 1400 ppm CO2 in the room air is already considered "very bad air" according to the EU standard, the maximum workplace concentration MAK in Germany is 5000 ppm. In addition, the CO2 traffic light "office" helps to save energy by correct moderate ventilation - not too little but also not too much and for too long. At night, the LEDs dim automatically, so the total energy consumption of the traffic light is extremely low.
The installation and commissioning is very simple:
As far as possible from the nearest window/door, the CO2 traffic light is doweled to a wall at a height of approx. 1.8 to 2 meters using the enclosed wall bracket and the plug-in power supply unit with its 2.3 meter long supply cable is plugged into a socket. After a 3 minute warm-up phase, the traffic light is immediately in its monitoring mode and displays the first value. If it should happen that the traffic light makes itself noticeable with its alarm sound, this can be switched off immediately over an invisible touch switch (touch field). In normal operation, this touch field can also be used to test the LEDs and the alarm sound.
