The magnetic switch of the KKS 210 set monitors the window position and transmits the information via a thin wire to an intermediate plug control unit with a switched 5 A socket. In this way, an air conditioner can be switched off automatically when the window is tilted or open, so that the outside air is not cooled and energy is wasted unnecessarily.
