This cylinder and natural gas detector with internal sensor ensures optimum detection of the corresponding gases and is an indispensable safety device in almost every household with a gas connection! Simply plug the GX-B1pro gas detector with internal sensor into a socket at a suitable height, without any installation work. Gas detector GX-B2pro with external sensor simply plug into a socket and position the external sensor at the appropriate height. The suitable height depends on the gas to be detected. For methane and thus natural gas, the sensor is mounted upwards, approx. 30cm below the ceiling. For butane and propane, i.e. gas from bottles, the sensor is mounted about 30 cm above the floor. The systems are already activated at gas concentrations that are far below dangerous levels for you. You are warned twice, with a visual and a loud acoustic signal. These gas detectors are easy to test with the pressure and volume-reduced gas from a lighter.
Hint:
Depending on the type of gas, observe the correct position height and simply plug the gas detector into the socket. If there is no socket at the correct height, please use the GX-B2pro (part no. 300926) with external sensor. After a short heating time, the device is ready for operation.
Performance features
- Simple installation in seconds
- External sensor enables optimal mounting so that the corresponding gases can be detected in their room position (methane at the top, butane / propane at the bottom)
- Acoustic and optical warning
