Mini float switch plastic normally open contact

The plastic float switch is reliable, maintenance- and wear-free and easy to install. With voltages up to 5 volts and currents up to 1 mA, up to 1 trillion switching cycles are possible. Water detectors from Elektrotechnik Schabus comply with this limit; here, a square-wave alternating voltage of 2.5 Vpp is always switched with high resistance, i.e. with very low current. The make contact switches on at a certain level and activates the input of the water detector. By turning the float body around, the reverse contact function is also obtained; with the changeover contact, turning around is not necessary. Mini float switches are basically used where a water level is signalled, i.e. in tanks, cisterns, wells, in the pump sump and in all other containers where water sensors would be exposed to too much moisture and would thus quickly tend to false alarms, but also to accelerated wear. If the 2.5 metre cable is too short for you, please inform us about the required length, we will be happy to manufacture each individual float switch according to your wishes.
