Dirt trap made of stainless steel mesh with plastic cover and V2A mounting bracket and PG screw connection for mounting all SCHABUS mini-float switches and SCHABUS water sensors. For special application of mini-float switches and sensors in outdoor areas (flooded areas, pond systems, rain cisterns or similar), in case of high dirt ingress due to floating branches and grasses, which could block the mechanics of the float. Also as protection against small animals such as frogs, snails or mice that could operate the float or trigger sensors. In the lower area, under the float is enough space to reliably keep washed-in sediments away from the mechanics. There are 2 small holes in the lid that prevent air bubbles from forming and thus suppress the float switch from floating up when mounted suspended without an angle.
