Functional description: The SHT 240 water detector is a quick-to-install indoor socket device for monitoring basements, washrooms, boiler rooms, cisterns, and more. The water sensor is mounted near the floor and the device is plugged into the socket. A signal generator is built in for a loud alarm. Extension sensor cable: If required, you can extend the sensor cable up to 50 m with a cable (2 x 0.14 mm²). To do this, you must cut the existing sensor cable and reconnect it with clamps. Use with non-conductive liquids: For other liquids such as fuel oil, diesel, vegetable oil, lubricating oils, etc., you need the device SHT 241 (Art. No. 300241) with mini float switch.
