The Aquastop SHT 216 is a protection system with device shutdown. The electronic alarm and shut-off device detects the smallest amounts of liquid and switches off the connected device. This activates the water stop of the device. With acoust./opt. Warning. A solenoid shut-off valve (normally closed) can also be controlled via the switchable socket, so that the water supply is cut off in the event of water ingress. Your water installation specialist will provide you with the appropriate shut-off valve. 
Extension sensor cable: If required, you can extend the sensor cable up to 50 m with a LIYY cable (max. 2 x 0.14mm²). In doing so, you must cut the existing sensor cable and reconnect it with clamps. We will gladly equip your device with the desired cable length ex works, just contact us. Use with non-conductive liquids: For other liquids, such as fuel oil, diesel, vegetable oil, lubricating oils, etc., you need the device SHT 226 (Art. No. 300228) with mini float switch.
